Flutes (Hanna: No instrument)

What we did ALL Students (Borland)
  • Reviewed Fingering for Bb, C and D; whole note/rest rhythm (line 1, 2, 4 on page 6 of book)
  • Discovered that the D to C fingering is difficult so we developed strategies to achieve our goals
  • Played Line 7
  • Discussed quarter and half note rhythms on line 16 (Hot Cross Buns)

What to do for next lesson
  • Achieve mastery of performance targets on line 7
  • Practice playing Line 16 "Hot Cross Buns"

  • Sustaining 8 count notes
